We make small batches of thermophilic compost with a diverse mix of organic material to ensure the best mix of indigenous microbes.
-
Our compost is available in 5 lb and 25 lb bags. We use burlap to allow for good airflow to keep the microbes alive, plus it is compostable (or reusable!) when emptied.

You can see the high quality of our compost with its dark chocolate color, its consistent moisture, and its crumbly structure. A little goes a long way.

Biologically-Active Compost: Transform Your Soil, Naturally
Unlock your soil’s true potential with our biologically-active compost, a nutrient-rich, microbe-packed solution designed to rejuvenate soil ecosystems and boost plant vitality. This isn’t just compost—it’s a powerful soil inoculant full of beneficial microbial life!
What Makes Biologically-Active Compost Special?
Unlike ordinary compost, biologically-active compost is teeming with a diverse population of beneficial microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and nematodes. These microscopic lifeforms are essential to healthy soil, performing critical functions such as breaking down organic matter, cycling nutrients, and improving soil structure. When introduced to your soil, these organisms establish a thriving, balanced ecosystem that fosters plant growth naturally.
We craft small-batches of thermophilic (also known as "hot") compost, carefully monitoring its temperature and moisture levels and turning the piles so every bit spends enough time in the hot center to kill off unwanted seeds and harmful organisms. We use a diverse mix of materials to create compost full of indigenous microbes. The results are full of organic matter and beneficial organisms and without viable weed seeds or disease causing microbes.
